Reports FAQ

Q. Why can't I see a report, or the Reports menu? A. Report tiles follow your role's report permissions — cashiers, for example, see sales reports but not Inventory or Operations. An owner or admin can change this under Setup → Team. See who can see which reports.

Q. Which location does a report cover? A. The one selected in the top bar. Choose All locations to report across every shop; the report's header shows which locations it covers.

Q. Do online and marketplace sales show up? A. Yes — Channel Performance splits your storefront, Amazon, and eBay orders, with fees, refunds, and net to seller. The Sales Report covers POS sales at your counters.

Q. How do I get a report into a spreadsheet or a PDF? A. Click CSV on the report's toolbar for a spreadsheet file. For a PDF, click PDF and choose Save as PDF as the destination in the print dialog.

Q. Can reports be emailed automatically? A. Yes — set up a delivery schedule. Recipients get an email with an Open report button for the covered dates; the report itself isn't attached.

Q. What dates does a scheduled report cover? A. Daily schedules cover yesterday, weekly ones the previous 7 days, and monthly ones the previous calendar month.

Q. Which report do I use for sales tax? A. The Sales Report. It splits taxable and tax-exempt sales and totals the tax you collected for the period — run it for the month or quarter you're filing.

Q. How does an item count as dead stock? A. It has stock on hand but sold zero units in the date range you picked.

Q. Where do refunds show up? A. In the Daily Report (refunds paid out, by tender), Counter Transactions (filter Returns only), the Invoice Report, and Cashier Performance (refund rate).

Q. Does "Ask a question" cost anything? A. It uses AI, so each question draws a little from your AI wallet. See AI plans.
