POS keyboard shortcuts

▶ Watch — ring a sale using only the keyboard

Cashiers who learn the hotkeys ring sales in a fraction of the time — no reaching for the mouse.

The shortcuts

Key	What it does
F2	Search and add an item to the cart
F3	Set the quantity on the selected line
F4	Apply a discount to the selected line
F5	Attach a customer to the sale
F6	Hold the order to come back to later
F7	Jump to held / recent orders
F8	Charge — open payment and take the money
F9	Cash in / out on the register
Del	Remove the currently selected line

TIP

On a Mac, hold Fn with the F-keys (or turn on "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" in System Settings → Keyboard).
