Sell an item online ​

▶ Watch — put a product online and see it in the storefront

Your online store sells the same catalog and stock as your counter — you just choose which items show online.

Put an item online ​

  1. Open the item in Inventory → Items.
  2. In the Sales channels section, turn on Online store.
  3. Optionally set an Online store price. Leave it blank and the item sells online at its Sell price.
  4. Click Save item.

Once your storefront is published, the item shows in your public storefront right away, with stock kept in sync across your counter and your store.

TIP

Items with a photo, a clear description, and a category sell far better online. Add those on the item before you publish.

When stock runs out ​

With Online store on, you can also tick Allow online backorders:

  • Off (the default) — the storefront hides the item as soon as stock reaches 0, so you never take an order you can't fill.
  • On — the item stays listed at 0 stock; shoppers can still order, and you fulfil when your next purchase order arrives.
